My paintings

Here you can see my different paintings from oil pastels and watercolor.

My very first attempt on oil pastel. Good thing it didn't turn out bad (I guess) but it didn't turn out clean either. =p
Teddy bear

This one is made of watercolor. I found this picture in the internet and painted it. I think it turned out pretty nice.
Lovebirds
A lone rose. Made also of watercolor.

Single rose
This is my second attempt on oil pastel. I gave this to my girlfriend in our first Valentine together.
Moonlight lovers

3 roses for my baby. I gave this to my girlfriend before I left the company we are working together. It's a remembrance and this has a meaning.

3 roses for my baby

*** Violet rose ***
A violet rose represents love at first sight. It represents elegance, enchantment, fantasy and dignity.
*** Red rose ***
Red roses say "I Love You" and also stands for respect and courage.
*** Yellow rose ***
Yellow roses usually stands for joy and gladness, but can also say "try to care".

My Portraits

As I had promised, I'm gonna post my artworks, so here they are:

My very first portrait (actually meron na din iba pa since nung bata pa ako pero ito ung considered ko as serious sketching na talaga).

Alicia Silverstone

Then, one of my favorite singers. Powerful voice!

Mariah Carey

Another on of my favorite RnB singers. A very soulful voice.

Alicia Keys

A local artist here.

Roxanne Barcelo

And a local artist in Korea. I've seen here in one of her tagalized korean drama in ABS-CBN.

Jeong Ryeo Won

And of course my girlfriend. I love you! =)

My girlfriend =)

I haven't made a portait for quite a while now but I might be trying to make my parents one. And that won't be the end. It's just the beginning so wait for my future portraits. =)

My tools on expressing my creative side

ART is always expressed using lots of different medium today. I have tried various medium myself trying to find out the one I'm most comfortable with. Ranging from a simple pencil of course to paint tubes. As of today I have tried charcoal and colored pencils, oil pastels (which I haven't ventured that much yet), watercolors, and oil paint.

Here are sample "tools" that I use in creating Art:

Faber-Castell Colored Pencils

My Faber-Castell Colored-Pencils. I use them in making portraits. Sample of which I will show in later posts.

Oil paint tubes

Here is a set of cheap oil paint tubes I bought in National Bookstore. I bought this because it will only be my first time using this medium so as an experiment, I got this one. The result of this, I will show in my later posts.

Any medium can be used in painting or sketching. It doesn't matter if the output won't turn out great. What matters is that you enjoy what you do and you're comfortable in what you're using. You experiment and create your own style.
